12 Month Warranty Statement 2012

Solus will repair, or at its option, replace the defective product during the stated warranty period.  This warranty applies only to the repair or replacement of the product and only when the product is properly handled, installed and maintained according to Solus Corporation's instructions.  This warranty excludes defects resulting from improper handling, storage, installation, acts of God, fire, vandalism or civil disturbances.  The purchaser must notify Solus in writing within 14 days of noticing the defect.  This warranty excludes field labour or service charges related to the repair or replacement of the product.  Solus reserves the right to change the warranty period without prior notice and without incurring obligation and expressly disclaims all warranties not stated in this warranty.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS - LED Lamps and Control Gear

Solus Corporation's warranty covers LED fixtures or control gear (drivers) that are supplied by Solus Corporation.  The installation must be operated under proper environmental conditions and the operating ambient air temperature must not exceed 30 degrees.

This warranty will be voided if conditions demonstrate abnormal use or stress, such as operating temperatures in excess of maximum rated temperatures, under/over voltage conditions or improper installation.  The warranty will be voided if LEDs supplied by Solus are replaced with any other LED.  The entire warranty will be voided if drivers supplied by Solus are replaced with any other manufacturers drivers.

PRODUCT REPLACEMENT/LIABILITY LIMITS

The foregoing warranty shall be the sole and exclusive remedy to the purchaser.  No warranty or fitness for any specific or particular purpose is made or is to  be implied.  No other warranty applies and Solus will not, under any circumstances, whether as a result of breach of contract or warranty, or otherwise , be liable for any costs or damages, including lost profits or revenues, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Solus reserves the right to examine all failed LEDs and drivers purchased.  No distributor, salesperson, dealer, retailer or other representative has the authority to change or modify this warranty, either orally or in writing, in any respect.
